Day 1 - Friday  
Motor Coach Pick up at central London Hotels Arrival at Millfield House, a luxury Georgian farm house in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. Time to unpack and relax as you enjoy a light buffet at the welcome reception and meet your fellow travellers. Time to stretch your legs and explore the walking paths of Carsington Water reservoir before heading to a local hidden village for your evening meal.
 
Day 2 - Saturday  
Delicious breakfast at the farm house, cooked to order by your host. Coach departs for Matlock Bath & The Heights of Abraham. Your adventure begins by taking a cable car soaring over the Derwent Valley soaring to the summit of Masson Hill. Expert lead guided tour of the caverns that were formed over 350 million years ago, each with their own fascinating story. Meander along the Willow Sculpture Trail, as you make your way around the estate using the original routes that were built for curious Georgian tourists. Lunch will be at the Vista Restaurant overlooking the valley before taking the cable car back to Matlock Bath for a little shopping and exploring. Later, we head to Arkwright's Mill in Cromford - Birthplace of the Industrial Revolution (as seen on BBC1's Antiques Road Trip) -  for an expert lead tour, with time to immerse yourself in the history of this cotton mill and learn the incredible story of Sir Richard Arkwright and how he became ‘the Father of the Factory System’ and see the mini water frame model based upon Arkwright’s original design.  
 
Day 3 - Sunday  
After a late start and light Breakfast, we head off in search of another hidden village, where we have a traditional English Sunday lunch in a small village pub & restaurant. After stopping for photo ops along the way and taking in the magnificent views across the Hope Valley, we spend the afternoon in Eyam, famous as the "Plague Village" . Stroll through the village visiting the Hall Courtyard full of Artisan shops and delight in the beautiful gardens of the local residents. On our homeward journey we stop at "Lovers Leap", a local beauty spot where a scene from Mission Impossible was filmed.  

Day 4 - Monday
After a good breakfast, we head to Chatsworth House, the magnificent home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, and often referred to as ‘the jewel in the Peak District’s crown’. Chatsworth House was used as the location for films such as Pride and Prejudice (film 2005, BBC TV series 1995), The Duchess (2008) and The Wolfman (2009), plus TV dramas such as the BBC’s Death Comes to Pemberley (2013).We take lunch in a private dining room before heading off to the market town of Bakewell, where we split the group into those who would like to shop in the town and at the weekly outdoor market and those who would prefer to tour the local brewery and take part in a beer sampling. The choice is yours!  

Day 5 - Tuesday  
After breakfast at the farm house, we set out for the Staffordshire Potteries for a truly unique experience. Arriving at the famous Emma Bridgewater china factory, we take a tour of how china is made. We have afternoon tea in the cosey cafe and in the afternoon head off to the design studio where you can create your very own design and take it home with you.  Day 6 - Wednesday   After a hearty breakfast we head off to the Yorkshire Dales, where All Creatures Great & Small was filmed and visit the medial walled city of York, where scenes from Harry Potter were filmed.  After touring the Cathedral and Church of Saint Peter in York, commonly known as York Minster, which is one of the largest of its kind in Northern Europe, we'll head for lunch at one of the most beautiful art deco hotels for afternoon tea. In the afternoon there will be time to explore the rest of the city, including the Shambles, the oldest shopping street in the country and the inspiration behind JK Rowling's creation of Diagon Alley. You'll be able to shop for something magical to take home with you, tour the market and hear street performers.  

Day 7 - Thursday
Today we visit the medieval market town of Ashbourne and the neighbouring village of Tissington. We will have a private tour of Tissington Hall, Ancestral home to Sir Richard and Lady Fitzherbert, lunch at the tea room in the village, owned by the Barroette, and a walk through the village stopping at the a local business, On a Wick and a Prayer, a local candle making business. In the afternoon, we visit Ashbourne where there is time for shopping in a variety of antique shops and small independent craft shops and galleries. In the evening. We will have a meal at the farm house, prepared by your host and made to order using fresh produce sourced from the local butcher, baker, fishmonger and green grosser. Before the following morning departures.
